For women who are done with painful and irregular periods
The Cycle Foundations Method is a one-on-one nutrition program built around your body and what your testing shows.
It's rarely one symptom. It's a handful that nobody has ever connected to each other, so each one gets waved off on its own. Maybe for you it shows up like:
Three good weeks and one you survive.
Day 22 or day 51, you never know.
Every bag you own has pads, spare underwear, and Advil in it.
They handed you birth control, but never explained what's going on.
You know you should eat better. Nobody's told you what better means for you.
Your labs came back normal and you still feel like this.
Hi, I'm Rene. I'm a Certified Nutritionist and Women's Holistic Health Coach.
After fifteen years in practice, the pattern I see most is a woman who was handed something to quiet a symptom and never told what was causing it.
Nobody explained that your cycle runs on what you eat, how you sleep, how much stress you're carrying, and what you're exposed to every day. Most women have no idea those things are connected to their periods at all, because no one ever mentioned it.
You're not missing discipline. You're missing the explanation.
It starts with a question nobody asked you. Not what will quiet this, but what's causing it.
It's built on your body, not the average one. Your labs, your DNA, your own history decide what we do and in what order.
PMS stops taking the week before. You keep the dinner plans. You sleep through the night. Your work pants button. Your daughter spills her cereal and you hand her a towel instead of yelling.
Your cycle lands where you expect it. Close enough that you say yes to the beach house in March without doing cycle math first.
You stop losing days to your period. No heating pad under your desk, no Advil every four hours, no calling out sick because the cramps and the exhaustion won.
The Cycle Foundations Method is six months of working one on one to find what's driving your cycle symptoms and work through it, one piece at a time, in the order that gives each change a fair chance.
Because we start with so much information about your body, the plan I build for you is usually a lot simpler than what you've been trying on your own. We don't overhaul everything you eat or rebuild your whole life at once. That isn't realistic, it isn't sustainable, and honestly, it isn't much fun. We focus on the few changes that matter most for your body, chosen from your history, your labs, and your DNA results.
✅ Twelve one-on-one sessions, about twice a month
✅ DNA testing, with your results explained in terms of your body
✅ A full review of your labs, and what they actually mean for you
✅ A personalized supplement protocol from the start and a review of your current supplements
✅ A journal with weekly prompts and a cycle tracker
✅ 25% off professional supplements for life
✅ Blue light glasses for the light and sleep piece
✅ Weekday messaging, with a reply within one business day
We pull your history, cycle, symptoms, labs, and DNA results into one picture, and map out your supplement protocol. Most women see their own pattern for the first time.
Food, blood sugar, light, and sleep, with specifics for your body. This is often where you feel the first shift.
Stress and the push-hard-then-crash pattern. A body running on empty doesn't prioritize a regular cycle.
How your body clears hormones and what you're exposed to day to day. Only the swaps that are worth making.
Eating, moving, and resting with each phase of your cycle, so you can plan around your energy instead of pushing through it.
We compare your symptom scores to where you started, and you leave knowing what to adjust on your own when a month goes sideways.
This started as my own problem.
I had painful, heavy periods from high school on. One day I took too much Midol trying to get through the school day and got sent home.
I continued to struggle with acne and heavy periods into my 20s. When I brought it to the doctors, I was laughed at. I was told there was no such thing as a hormone imbalance and handed birth control. Not once did anyone ask what I was eating, how I was sleeping, or what my stress looked like.
So I went and found the answers myself. A bachelor's and a master's in nutrition, then culinary training, herbal science, and Ayurvedic medicine. Fifteen years of practice later, I'm still closing the gap I fell into as a teen.
No woman should have to piece this together at 35 after a decade of being dismissed.
"Rene was honestly the first practitioner who made me feel like I wasn’t “broken.” I started with her feeling exhausted and frustrated. I’d been trying to eat “healthy” for years, but I was still dealing with cravings, poor sleep, bloating, and low energy, especially in the second half of my cycle. These symptoms were increasing as I was getting older too. Rene didn’t just hand me a list of rules. She actually listened, asked really thoughtful questions, and explained what was going on in a way that finally made sense. What I appreciated most is how realistic her approach was. We made small shifts with food, meal timing, and a few simple lifestyle things, and she helped me notice patterns I’d been missing. Within a few weeks my energy felt steadier and my cravings chilled out, and I stopped feeling like my body was unpredictable. By the end of the program I felt more calm, more consistent, and way more confident about what to do when symptoms pop up”"
"Rene was wonderful. She truly listened to what I had to say, took my concerns seriously, and addressed them thoughtfully rather than with a one-size-fits-all approach. What stood out most was the insight she offered in areas I hadn't even considered, which gave me a much clearer and more confident path forward. I left feeling heard, supported, and better informed to reach my goals."
"Rene is compassionate and knowledgeable, and I immediately felt comfortable working with her. She took the time to listen carefully and offered clear, realistic guidance tailored to my needs. I left feeling supported and confident, and I would gladly recommend her to others."
✅ You're used to working hard and seeing it pay off, and it's frustrating that your body is the one place that hasn't
✅ You want to understand why something is happening, not just be told what to take
✅ You follow through once you have a plan that actually makes sense to you
✅ You're curious about natural approaches, even if you're new to them
✅ You'd rather be treated as a specific person than handed the same handout as everyone else
✅ You're willing to make one change at a time and give it a fair chance
✅ You want to leave knowing how to read your own body, not needing someone to tell you forever
None of it started with your body.
The pill, the gluten-free month, the supplement a friend swore by. Those were built for women in general, so when nothing changed, there was no way to know whether it was the wrong thing or just the wrong time to try it.
This starts somewhere else. We look at the whole picture first: what you eat, how you sleep, your stress, your hormones, your labs, your DNA, even what's in your bathroom cabinet. Then we pick the few things that matter most for your body and work through them one at a time.
You'll also know early whether it's working. You score your symptoms at the start, the midpoint, and the end, and we look at the numbers together. If something isn't moving, we see it and adjust.
Six weeks is barely one and a half cycles.
A lot of programs promise results in six weeks. Here's why I built this one to last six months.
Everything changes at once
About one and a half cycles
The same plan for everyone
Ends before your cycle has time to respond
You're on your own for the first rough month after
Information you've mostly read before
One change at a time, so each one gets a fair test
Six cycles, enough to actually see your pattern shift
Built from your labs, your DNA, and your history
Many changes may take about three months to show up in your cycle, and we're still working together when they do
You get through a trip, a holiday, or a brutal work stretch with support
You leave knowing how to adjust on your own
A few things women usually want to know first.
Yes. The foundation work applies either way. On a GLP-1, eating well often matters even more, since a smaller appetite leaves less room to get what your body needs. I won't ask you to stop any medication. That's a conversation for you and your prescriber.
Yes. With PCOS, blood sugar and insulin are often part of what's driving symptoms. With PMDD, many women find their bodies are especially sensitive to the hormone shifts in the second half of the cycle, and blood sugar, sleep, and stress can make that harder or easier. Either way, your plan is built around your picture, and it works alongside any care you're getting from your doctor or therapist.
Yes, as part of your care rather than in place of it. Endometriosis is a medical diagnosis, and decisions about surgery or medication belong with your gynecologist. What I work on is the rest of the picture: blood sugar, stress, sleep, digestion, how your body is clearing hormones, and what you're exposed to day to day. Many women find that managing those alongside their medical care makes a real difference in how they feel month to month.
No. You'll make a few changes at a time, the ones that matter most for your body, and build from there.
Two sessions a month, plus a short module and some journaling in between. It's designed for women who are already busy and tired.
You've probably been trying for years, and you already know more than most. What's usually missing is knowing which parts apply to your body, what to do first, and someone to adjust with you when a month goes sideways.
Yes. Every session is by telehealth, so you can work with me from wherever you are.
Washington State residents may be eligible to use insurance toward part of the program. We'll go over your options together on our call.
I'll email you the details of how the program works. If it sounds like a fit, we'll set up a call to talk through your situation, and that's where we cover pricing.
By the end of our time working together my goal is for you to have:
✅ Less pain and fatigue when you bleed, so your period stops taking days from you
✅ Energy that holds up all four weeks, so you stop rationing yourself
✅ A cycle predictable enough to plan a trip, a race, or a big week at work around
✅ Days of warning before your period, read off your own body
✅ A rhythm you can use, where you schedule the hard stuff when you're strongest and rest when your body is asking for it
✅ The confidence that comes from knowing what your body is doing and why
Let's get started.
I'll email you how the program works and what's included. If it sounds like a fit, we'll set up a time to talk.
